Certified for 75 minutes of fire protection at 1200°, the Franklin series has 4 layers of 5/8″ fireboard in the ceiling, 3 layers in the doorjambs and door, plus 2 layers in all walls to create a whopping 86,000 BTUs. The included Palusol heat activated door seal expands up to 7 times its normal size to help seal out smoke and heat from the door jambs.
